Last week’s RHONDAVOUS has still got me reeling, but as I never rest on my accomplishments, I wanted to start cooking on the next party, and let me tell you, it’s gonna be a doozy. This next time I’m bringing you a strong yet sensual man that matches - if not surpasses - my love for real authentic house music and the 12”s that deliver it to you. That’s right I’m talking about real, raw, sexy, and hard-hitting vinyl…and lots of it. Although this man was born in L.A., he was raised in Detroit, which is where I first met him. As soon as I walked in that club with my skintight red mini dress and sky-high heels he called me out over the mic and from that moment forward I was hooked. Never would I let a man speak to me in that manner, but this one was different. He reminded me of some of the men I had crushes on as an adolescent girl: brash, strong, outspoken, and soulful. I had to know more. I shall remain a lady and not divulge the full occurrences of that evening, but let’s just say I was impressed, and have since been trying to get this man back into my embrace.
